Transforming Access. Transforming Outcomes.

Public benefit programs help people buy food, access affordable healthcare, and give their children the start they deserve. But many households who are eligible for benefits and tax credits don’t receive them.

Under-enrollment in benefit programs keeps people in poverty and strains community organizations working to serve local families. At the same time, this under-enrollment causes Illinois to leave billions in federal dollars on the table each year that could be going to support our state.

Benefit Illinois is working to connect more eligible people to the programs they qualify for so all Illinois families and communities have the resources they need to thrive.
